Alishan is widely known as one of the leading designers of timeless pieces with precious metals and gemstones, and has won numerous prestigious awards internationally. Some of them are from the International Pearl Competition in Japan, and others in the U.S. namely the American Gem trade Association (AGTA) and Platinum Guild International. To fully integrate himself to the jewelry industry, he became, and still is an active member of the International Jewelry Design Guild, Contemporary Design Group, American Gem Trade Association, and a highly regarded member of the American Jewelry Design Council where he serves as board member and treasurer.
